TRAINING BEYOND THE BASICS WITH TRACY BRITT, CERTIFIED DOG TRAINER

A TESTIMONIAL FROM VICKY AND KEVIN LYNCH

REGARDING TRACY BRITT OWNER / PACK PERSPECTIVE

Tracy's consultations and training have been extremely valuable to us at the Marshfield Animal Shelter. About half of the dogs coming through the shelter have some type of behavioral or adjustment problems. Some of the issues can be rather extreme. Tracy is consulted on all the extreme cases for direction on training methods. In some cases these dogs stay at her home for immersion in her training methods. Without her expertise many of those dogs would not be adoptable. She always gets it right. There are a lot of dogs in forever homes because of Tracy’s skill, patience and compassion.

The Friends of the Marshfield Animal Shelter, an all volunteer group, has to maximize the set amount of time the volunteers have to interact with the dogs. The volunteers all have their own ideas and philosophies. Tracy gets this and patiently adviseds us, putting us all on the same track with her methods, so we can achieve the best outcome for the dog and its potential new owner.

FRIENDS OF THE MARSHFIELD ANIMAL SHELTER

MISSION STATEMENT

Our mission is to promote awareness of and participate in the activities of the town owned Marshfield Animal Shelter and to create and deliver our own programs furthering the well being and safety of Shelter residents and animals in the community of Marshfield, MA and on Boston's South Shore.

Specifically, we support the Shelter, a no-kill facility, in its efforts to provide food, veterinary care, training and suitable homes for shelter residents. We also promote awareness of pet overpopulation, its consequences and the availability and positive impact of spay/neuter services.

Animals in the community, who are at risk of neglect, abuse, surrender, or abandonment may also benefit from other assistance and programs.

Your DONATIONS and support are vital to our success.

Thank you!
